Dear Fellow Journalers,
The following 8 Courage and Hope Sayings “article” was given to me years ago on retreat. I kept it in my journal and want to share it with you. Please feel free to share.
~Sallie
Courage…
does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,”I will try again tomorrow.”
Courage…
is not the absence of fear. Courage is the presence of fear with the willingness to face it.
Courage…
is moving into the unknown. It is leaving the past and allowing the future to be.
Take courage…
The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek. (Joseph Campbell)
Stress is…
an ignorant state. It believes that everything is an emergency. Breathe. You have everything you need.
Hope …
is knowing that you are greater than anything that will ever happen to you.
Do not pray…
for courage… for God has already given it to you. Pray instead to receive the courage that is living within you right now.

Learning is like a water jar. If you start at birth and put 1 thing in it every day until the day you die, your jar will still appear empty—because the jar (learning) is bottomless, and the water (knowledge) is limitless.
