Irish Blessing

ST Patrick’s Day

Dear Fellow Journalers,

When I was a teenager, I took Irish Step Dancing lessons and my favorite musical group was The Clancy Brothers. Here is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

ST Patrick’s Day

Dear Fellow Journalers,

Every year on March 17, the Irish and the Irish-at-heart across the globe observe St. Patrick’s Day. What began as a religious feast day for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival celebrating Irish culture with parades, dancing, special foods and a whole lot of green.

When I was a youngster, my family honored St Patrick by going to Mass. When I was a teenager, I took up Irish Step Dancing so you know what I was doing every March 17th after that. When I got married and our son was old enough to understand, the leprechaun “spiked” the apple juice with green food coloring! Now our Granddaughter will learn about the “wee folk” from her Grandparents as we are all Irish!

Have a great day.

~Sallie.

Prompts

Prompts

Dear Fellow Crafters/ Journalers,

In this post we’ll talk about the dreaded blank page. Writers call these bits of thought  prompts. My suggestion is to create a Prompt Jar and write down all the prompts you see below (and as the year goes on, I’ll send you more!) and put the pieces of paper in your jar. When you get stuck, pull out one or two and start writing. To create a Prompt Jar you can use an empty Yankee Candle Jar. I can send you the link, if you are interested.

The category list is long and the March Prompt list is at the bottom.
