Constructing the Quote Journal

Dear Fellow Journaler,

Putting a quote journal is fairly simple – except for the collection of the quotes themselves! This could become a life-long addiction! (in a good way). My tips are:

  1.  Buy one with a sturdy cover, as you will be opening and closing it often. If  you decide to make your own and have been following this blog regularly, then you already know that you need to include watercolor paper and lots of lined paper as well.
  2. Don’t just write the quotes, draw them too.jennifer-frith-sketchbook-art-journal-pages
  3. List the author and remember it’s okay to write “unknown”.
  4. If you have a friend who has a favorite author, why not make a quote journal for them. (This is a useful idea!)

If you have a preference for particular themes, divide the pages up or better still, use pre-drilled 3- hole punched paper for the book.

If you already have a quote journal, please feel free to comment!

‘Til next time,

~~Sallie~~
