“Sending a handwritten letter is becoming such an anomaly. It’s disappearing. My Mom is the only one who still writes letters. And there’s something visceral about opening a letter. I see her on the page. I see her in her handwriting.” Steve Correll

Handwritten letters are very special in that they represent writing (elegant hand or penmanship) from the heart, a labor of composing meaningful words to paper, something tangible that can be read over and over again, and a timeless keepsake. Letters can be saved for years and later on shared with future generations. They also are proof of who we are, who we were, where we have been, where we are going, and the people we have known and loved, and the places we have been to and may return to someday. Handwritten letters are special treasures filled with memories, words, emotions, and loving thoughts committed to paper with the stroke of a pen from the mind and heart. Keep on writing! A wonderful post. I enjoyed reading it very much.
