Do you ever get stuck inside your head? In my early teens, I sometimes had bouts of insomnia. It’s a crazy time -right? Classes, endless tests, relationships, growth spurts – you name it. But, like life, I outgrew it. Now, as an older and somewhat “sexy senior citizen,” I like to think I outgrew this malady. Covid 19 changed all that.
How do you crawl out? Most, if not all real holes don’t have hand or foot holds to grab onto. You can’t get out of a hole by yourself. Unless you like being stuck, you have to cry out for help. There’s an episode on a tv show called Laramie ( season 3, episode 92)
We’re all probably familiar with the signs of depression but are we equally familiar with the signs in the ways of healing? How do we get out of our heads? There are other ways too and I welcome your comments as to how to battle depression especially now as we battle isolation from our loved ones at the beginning of our holiday season.
